BBQs without gas or charcoal – Culinary Revolution

Discover Woodflame BBQs and Their Exceptional Innovation

What sets Woodflame BBQs apart from others is simple yet revolutionary. First and foremost, there’s no need for gas – no more worrying about refilling a propane tank. Woodflame BBQs operate solely on small wood chunks or branches, providing a more eco-friendly and cost-effective solution. What truly makes these barbecues exceptional is their ingenious heat distribution system integrated into their design. Regardless of where the meat is placed on the grill, the performance remains consistent.

Furthermore, the versatility of the Woodflame BBQ shines through its power options. You can either plug it into an electrical outlet or use “D” type batteries. A blower with 9 ventilation intensities is cleverly integrated into the barbecue’s chamber, propelling air into the burner and fueling the combustion of wood chunks at high temperatures. This air-feeding concept, inspired by the practices of blacksmiths for hot metalworking, ensures even heat distribution and optimal performance.

As an example, the BBQ reaches an impressive temperature of 1000 degrees Fahrenheit in just 2 minutes, surpassing traditional cooking standards. This innovative technology gives Woodflame BBQs a clear advantage, providing an exceptional cooking experience and opening new horizons for barbecue enthusiasts.

About Woodflame

Our Captivating Journey

Woodflame was founded in 1998 in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu by Philippe Daubois and his family. With the introduction of its first Woodflame barbecue, it immediately garnered significant enthusiasm within the industry. Thanks to customer satisfaction and Woodflame’s presence at numerous events and exhibitions, the company experienced exponential revenue growth. Whether for its practical, technical, or futuristic aspects, Woodflame successfully captured the hearts of consumers.

Throughout its evolution, Woodflame has received several distinctions, including the prestigious Industrial Design Award at the International Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva in 2000.

Subsequently, Woodflame distinguished itself by participating in various popular television shows in Quebec, such as Salut Bonjour and Ricardo’s culinary program, as well as internationally in the United States and France with the show Télé Matin.

The renowned Woodflame barbecues were distributed in most major stores for many years, internationally, notably in North America and Europe. Over the years, the product evolved by leveraging technological advancements, maintaining its exceptional performance and distinctive character.
However, after some time, the company faced unexpected personal events, leading to the cessation of its activities, and ultimately withdrawing from the market and store shelves by the end of the 2020s.

After 26 years of existence, the company was finally acquired in December 2023 by two ambitious young entrepreneurs. Their goal is to propel Woodflame to new heights, infusing new life and an innovative vision into this iconic brand.
